Philosophy

Curating the perfect pieces for a custom space is a crucial stage of the design process. Thoughtfully-sourced furnishings are what makes a house into a home. Unfortunately, the practicalities that follow this significant step can be a drain on time and creative resources. At Coco to the Trade, we have positioned ourselves to be a partner for design studios of all sizes. Whether you're looking for access to exclusive pricing from our extensive vendor list or in need of a hand with the logistics of purchasing, our team has the skill and experience to care for all of your procurement needs.

Meet the Team

Mary Gorman, Principal

Mary spent the first 16 years of her career as a Financial Analyst on Wall Street. After taking some time off to raise her daughters, she returned to the workforce to pursue her passion: interior design. In the years since, her design work has evolved from a window treatment franchise to retail interior design and ultimately to positioning herself as an industry expert. During her time as a brick-and-mortar business owner, Mary learned the ins-and-outs of the wholesale process and how to best navigate vendor relationships, and in that, found her niche. In working with designers, Mary has found a role that fulfills her creatively and gives her an outlet for her experiences in analytics and design. She is motivated every day by the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded people and help them streamline their process so they can be their most creative selves. Lori Ramundo, Claims Specialist

With a background in design and a passion for helping others, Lori is a perfect fit for the role of claims specialist. She provides design partners with the knowledge, guidance, and communication they need to make their vision for each space a tangible reality. In her free time, you will find Lori gardening, painting, taking photos, or entertaining friends. Hiking in the Ramapo Mountains with her Chocolate Labrador, Karma, is a daily ritual, and she enjoys the occasional yoga class. Signature Design Aesthetic: Transitional and comfortable with a punch of poshy.

Sara Waldron, Logistics Specialist

As Logistics Specialist, Sara tracks every order and continuously updates our Google Tracking Sheet. Sara is the primary point of contact for tracking and status updates on your orders and helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Before joining us at Coco, Sara worked as a photographer. In her spare time, you will find her photographing the beautiful wildlife that visits her backyard and writing songs. Signature Design Aesthetic: Vintage

Marisa, Project Manager

After graduating from college, Marisa decided to move to Boston and start her career at an Investment Consulting firm where she worked for five years as an analyst. While Marisa liked her job she always loved interior design and happily joined Coco To The Trade to help manage the day to day operations. She does everything from quoting to processing orders and communicating with designers about their sourcing needs. Signature Design Aesthetic: Transitional coastal

Praise for Coco to the Trade

"We love working with Mary and her team. Our business is more profitable not only because of their pricing, but because of how much less time we spend on order placement and particularly follow-up on damaged items or other claims. The whole team is a pleasure to work with, super responsive, detail oriented, and focused on helping us succeed. We’re so happy to have found them and look forward to continuing to collaborate with Coco on all our projects!"
